Houghton Douglass Falls drops about 110 feet into a wooded gorge on Hammell Creek in the Keweenaw Peninsula, making it the tallest waterfall in Michigan. A new trail and bridge reach the rim easily, but the area beyond the bridge remains undeveloped and unprotected.
